Olive Crocker – Somatic Therapist (Somatic Experiencing® & NeuroAffective Touch® trainee)
Olive is a Somatic Therapist working with Somatic Experiencing® and NeuroAffective Touch®. Her approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a deep trust in the body’s innate movement toward healing and wholeness.
She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, and emotional overwhelm, including those who feel stuck in their lives or disconnected from themselves. Olive has a particular interest in supporting parents and parent-carers, including those who find the experience of parenting or caregiving especially intense, or who wish to heal after a difficult or traumatic birth no matter how many years have passed.
A central focus of Olive’s work is helping clients move beyond unresolved trauma that keeps the body stuck in protective patterns long after the original threat has passed. Using the gentle tools of Somatic Experiencing®, she supports the completion of these responses, helping the nervous system return to regulation and flexibility, and access more vitality and connection. Her work is also informed by a growing interest in developmental trauma and emotional neglect. Drawing on the principles of NeuroAffective Touch®, she offers a somatic and relational approach to support clients in restoring a felt sense of safety, self-contact, and connection. Through attuned touch and somatic awareness, she helps clients access early, often pre-verbal layers of experience that shape patterns of relating — both to themselves and to others — as well as patterns of self-regulation.
Olive is a registered member of the Complementary Therapists Association and the Somatic Experiencing Association, and receives regular supervision in her work. For more information go to www.olivecrocker.com or contact her directly at olive@regeneratrix.co.uk
